Mission Objectives
Six Objectives:
To uphold the God-given mandate to preach God’s Word alone and no other.
To emphasize the weighty responsibility to those who take upon themselves the title didaskalos (teacher).
To teach how to accurately (by cutting it straight) exposit the biblical text from the Holy Scripture via a sola and tota Scriptura methodology.
To equip pastoral staff, teachers, missionaries and seminarians to faithfully exposit the God-authored intended meaning of the text (how to discover it and preach it).
To provide a systematized step-by-step Bible study process that yields faithful biblically saturated expositions consistently week after week through proper biblical:
- Preparation
- Exegesis
- Consultation
- Formulation
- Delivery
To express the results of Bible-centered expositional preaching will have upon the communicator and the hearers — now and to come.
Three Goals:
To encourage the pastor-teacher to understand the weightiness of God’s call to “handle accurately the Word of truth” so as not to be ashamed on the last day.
To equip the man of God to conform to the authority of the Holy Scriptures and to explicate the mandates of Scripture in a biblical way to his hearers that will bring forth Spirit-driven change (sanctification) in the life of God’s people.
To systematize the preparation process so that both pastors and teachers are able to efficiently produce expository sermons week after week and to emphasize the transforming work of the Holy Spirit in the life of the expositor that he may become a biblical model to those he means to evangelize and serve to the glory of God.
