The Expository Preaching Institute (E.P.I.) would like to welcome you to our website. Our organization is dedicated to equipping and training bible teachers to be biblical expositors. The mandate from Holy Scripture is clear and has brought forth the birth of this organization: “Preach the Word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort, with great patience and instruction” (2 Tim 4:2).

“Preach the Word” is what E.P.I. is all about. Biblical preaching requires faithful men who are called by God to communicate His words to God’s people. E.P.I is a finishing school that brings together the elements required to do just that. We prepare the pastor-teacher, missionary, and seminarian to extract the message of God from God’s Word.

The mandate is clear — “preach the Word” — but whose word is it? The word of men or God? This sounds like a simple and clear mandate. Most assuredly it is. However, many well-meaning pastors and teachers in the church are teaching everything else but the God’s Word.

E.P.I. purpose is to teach the basic principles of true Bible exposition and would like to re-ignite the mandate, passion and desire to follow God’s Word without compromise and to equip God’s men to preach the Word with all clarity and conviction with hopes of persuading those under their charge to greater reflect the image of Christ by the power of the Holy Spirit. Our charge is clear: “Preach the Word” of God so that on the last day we may hear the precious words of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ: “Well done, good and faithful servant” (Matt. 25:21).
